Bangkok 2005 Part 3: A day without a theme.Went down to Chinatown for lunch and a bit of shopping...
It was crowded, to say the least... People were packed like sardines and there were times where everyone came to a complete standstill.
We walked down tonnes of narrow passages until we couldn't take it anymore... Went back to our hotel to freshen up before heading out to the town area.
We didn't know what to do... So we...
... bought tickets to catch a late-night screening of Aeon Flux. Each tickets cost about S$5, which was what the show was worth anyway...
But before that, we had dinner at some fusion restaurant. As in really fusion. There was Thai food, Italian food, Jap food and Chinese food.
Don and Dion, the other two i went on the trip with.
Don paid for the meal (and many other meals), and when he pays, he likes to do something he affectionately calls
OVERKILL. That's a result of too much Final Fantasy for you.
Look at the food grow! And that's only my side of the table...
Ahhhhhhum...
We couldn't stand straight for an hour after that...
Author's note: Really sorry for the prolonged drought in Bangkok updates, but i haven't had the chance to really sit down and blog much. There'll be around 2 to 3 more parts of the trip, and after that, i'll do like a compilation for it, so be patient!
