TCC SurpriseMet up with the founding members of the VS clique
(plus Chloe) today for lunch cos it was Chloe's birthday on Thursday, 180506.
Doesn't she look like one of those Jap tourists? We were supposed to meet at 1pm but we (minus Chloe) decided to meet up at 11.30am instead to do some
(very) last minute shopping for Chloe's present.
After buying the card, we were stumped on what else to get her.
We did what we do best. Stand somewhere and whine, "How? Buy what?"
We walked the whole of Citylink, Marina Square and finally went down to Suntec where i had the wonderful idea of getting her something from here.
No, we didn't get her tea leaves. We got her a tumbler from Starbucks, with lollipops, mints and a voucher for a free drink stuffed into it. All my idea!
-looks around proudly-Looks like a Subway sandwich. The elected pen-bringer forgot the bring his pens, so we had to borrow the Starbuck's cashier's pen. She was so friendly and asked us if we were buying it as a present and even offered to help wrap it. For free of course. I sound so cheapo but moving on, we all wrote in the card...
All except Alvin, who came late, as usual.
For that he'll get a small picture.
Nah!He was stumped at what to write cos Chloe already came and he was hiding somewhere writing the card. So abit the kan cheong la.
We made our way down to TCC @ Milenia Walk
(yes mabs, your turn to correct me) for our lunch. I seriously never considered TCC a place for a meal until now. Desserts yes, but i had a bad experience with their mudpie when i went to the Raffles City branch with Mabel.
The food there was surprisingly very good, and affordable! I'd recommend... Everything! My Teriyaki Salmon had a "Healthier Choice" stamp on it and it was still damn freaking good! The Mongolian Curry Chicken thingy that JW had was also to die for and everyone kept 'koping' his wedges that he complained that he was the fastest to finish and still hungry! Haha, sorry buddy!
After the meal we went shopping! Jw wanted new shoes
(and he got them) and i wanted to get my dad a bag for his birthday
(and i got it). But before either of us could go scout for our stuff, Chloe disappeared.
Miss Selfridge had sale! She went to snatch tops with the aunties.
The rest of us guys went to Topshop, then Zara, and still had to wait for her somemore. She finally emerged with a cropped jacket. Some people were damn sian of waiting, but aiyoh, it's supposed to be her birthday celebration, let her shop!
We had so much fun just reminiscing about the past and laughing over our stupid antics like getting into fights and lame arguments.
The funniest memory had to be an argument between me and some bitch.
Me: You bitch trying to act human!
Him: You slut trying to act human!
Me: Slut is already human what!
Him: Well, my slut is not human!
That one is unbeatable man! Never fails to make everyone ROFL.
Anyway,
LOL, couldn't resist.
