Vigor, Vigilance, Steadfast!

Thousands of people walk into Orchard MRT daily. So many that you might never see the same person twice.

So many, but i still kena. So suay...

You must be thinking, "Kena what?"

I'll tell you i kena what...

I KENA RANDOM BAG CHECK!

Disgusting!

I was going back home, minding my own business, and as soon as i walked through the gantry, this MRT staff approached me.

"Can you follow me over there for a random bag check please?"

At least, that's what i thought he said. As usual, my iPod's earphones were stuffed in my ears. What i heard was actually, "mumble mumble random bag check mumble..."

I took one look at the person,

chucked my bag at him,

and ran past the closing doors of the train, away from the MRT staff and the pirated DVD's in my bag.

...

Of course not.

Luckily i could deduce that he wanted to check my bag, and immediately followed him to a table that was obscured from view by the lift.

I plonked my freakingly huge bag (cos got all my camp stuff inside like uniform and even boots!) on the table and started to open it, steeling myself for a thorough search through my belongings.

Instead, i heard the muffled voice (my earphones still jammed firmly into my ears) of the man saying, "Ok, thank you sir."

I was a little stunned and tittered nervously, "Er, ooookkk", while zipping up my bag, it's contents untouched.

Was it because i was carrying such a huge bag that i came under the suspicion of being anything but a law abiding citizen?

I know all this is done to safeguard the MRT's from any potential terrorist attacks or whatnot, but why me?

Except for the missiles (which are photoshopped), i positively look like a deer caught in the headlights!

Do i look anything like a terrorist huh?!

p/s, you guys didn't think i really took all those photos in the MRT station did you? Goodness, how embarrassing that would be. Of course i took the photos myself, in my own room, with the camera's timer function and then photoshopped the background with pictures of MRT stations that i found by Googling "MRT STATION SINGAPORE".

I know you guys think i'm thick-skinned, but i'm not THAT thick-skin ok!

Comments:
I love your photoshop!

For a moment I thought you really took it in the station!

Heehee, thanks.. I'd have missed this comment if i hadn't scrolled down!
